Z Visa . Issued to Foreigners who intend to work in China.
China Tourist Visa (L VISA)
Issued to Foreigners who intend to go to China as a tourist.
Valid for 10 years with multiple entries for U.S. Citizens.
U.S. citizens may qualify for a multiple entry China tourist visa, valid for ten years.

5. Supporting Document:
When you apply for a China tourist visa, You must provide one of following supporting documents:

Provide a photocopy of the round-trip airline ticket AND hotel reservation OR;

Provide an invitation letter from your host in China. The letter of invitation is an important document that is written by an entity in China showing why you intend to visit the country. The entity can be an individual, a business company, an academic institution, or even a tourist group. This letter shows the reason for your travel to China. Below are the requirements of the invitation letter:

Your name, gender, arrival and departure dates, specific destination, passport number

Your sponsor’s name, signature, contact information, address, and copy of residence permit, and/or Chinese ID.

Your purpose of your Chinese visit.

A non-government sponsor must state the relationship you share. The photocopy of inviter's Chinese ID is required if the invitation letter is from an individual.

U.S. citizens born in Afghanistan, Cameroon, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Nigeria, Tunisia, Turkey, or Syria who are currently traveling to China with their American passport will need to make a personal appearance in order to apply for a visa to China. China Visa Service Center will be unable to assist you with your visa request.

China Business Visa ("M" Or "F" VISA)
The Category “M” business visas are issued for commercial and trade activities, such as visiting clients, meeting with business partners, and attending trade fairs. These visas are typically valid for 3 months. US citizens may be eligible for a 10-year multiple entry visa.
The category “F” business visas are for academic exchange including conducting research, attending conferences, and University collaboration. These are typically valid for 3-6 months with 1-2 entries.

5. Official Business Invitation Letter issued by a Company in China.
The offical business invitation letter must show which company in China has invited you for business. The letter must be on the company letterhead and should also contain the company stamp.
The letter must include the following:

Personal information of the applicant: name, gender, date of birth, nationality and passport number;

Information concerning the applicant's visit to China : purpose of the visit, date of arrival and leaving, places to visit, relationship between the applicant and the inviter, and who will bear the cost of the applicant's accommodations in China

Information of the inviter: name of the unit or individual, phone number or Email, Inviter' s address in China, if possible, fax number.

Official stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual.
6. Proof of Residency:
You need to submit a document that proves your current residential address. This proof document can be a copy of your driver’s license or utility bill.
7. Previous Chinese Visa:
If you have visited China before, then you need to provide a copy of the previous Chinese visa. It must be the most recently issued version.
If your last valid visa is on your previous old passport, please make sure to submit the original previous old passport.
Note:

If you work with the media, NGO, or as part of a religious organization, you must have a personal statement letter as well as a letter from your employer on the company letterhead. The same applies if you work for an NGO. These should show that you are not traveling with the intention to perform any religious or media work.

If you are a U.S. Citizen born in Tunisia, Syria, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, and Cameroon, and you intend to travel to China with an American passport, the rules are a bit different. You must show up in person to apply for a China visa.

If you are a non-U.S- citizen, you must include a valid work visa or Green Card copy with your China visa application.

You are required to provide a Business Cover Letter from your U.S.-based company. All letters must be printed on company letterhead that displays a U.S. mailing address. Using the included sample Business Cover Letter to complete your letter. A Business Introduction Letter issued by American Airlines must be provided.
5. Copy of Front and Back of Airline Crew Identification
You must provide a copy of the front and back of your airline crew identification badge.
6. Copy of your Driver's License
You must provide a photocopy of your driver's license. The home address you provide on the visa application form must match the address displayed on your driver's license.
Note: Delta Bases Requirement Visas are allowed by Delta for Flight Attendants in the following bases: Atlanta, Detroit, Seattle and Los Angeles.

For "X 2 " Visa, you need provide an Original and Photocopy of Admission Letter issued by a school in China.
For "X 1" Via (study in China for a period of more than 180 days), JW202 Form is required. A letter of acceptance from your Chinese based educational establishment.
Note for JW 202 form:

Compare your JW202 with your passport and verify that your name, date of birth, passport number and birth city are the same on your passport and your JW202
